- Verify Power Is Off: Before installation, ensure the control cabinet's power supply has been isolated and that there is no voltage on the power distribution busbar.
- DIN Rail Installation: Slide the module into the mounting slot along the standard 35mm DIN rail, ensuring it is securely installed.
- Maintain Clearance: Maintain a minimum cooling clearance of 5 cm from surrounding equipment.
- Wiring Connection: Refer to the wiring diagram on the side of the module. Connect the external DC power cable to the input terminals (distinguishing between positive and negative), then connect the power cables of each load device to the corresponding output terminals.
- Tighten Terminals: Tighten the terminal screws to prevent loosening, and wrap exposed wire ends with electrical tape.
At a certain combined-cycle power plant, three IS230JPDGH1B modules were operating simultaneously in a TMR triple-redundant configuration. The three modules executed the same control logic in parallel and issued control commands through a "two-out-of-three" voting mechanism.
During a routine maintenance check, it was discovered that a fuse in one of the modules had deteriorated; however, thanks to the TMR architecture, the system continued to operate normally, and maintenance personnel were able to replace the module without shutting down the plant.
