The GE IS420UCSCS2A is a core safety controller module from General Electric (GE). This model features a standalone computer design and runs the dedicated QNX Neutrino real-time operating system. This controller is a compact, base-mounted module that is fanless, battery-free, and requires no hardware configuration jumpers; all configuration is performed via software. It supports SIL 2 and SIL 3 functional safety levels, complies with the IEC 61508 international standard for functional safety, and serves as a critical component in industrial safety applications.
