The VMD-WW009-A1-B1-C070-D008-E010-F1-G008-H10 is a high-performance eddy-current proximity sensor. Designed for use with a transmitter or converter, it enables non-contact measurement of shaft vibration or relative displacement.
Its measurement principle is based on the eddy-current effect: the sensor probe generates a high-frequency alternating magnetic field. When a metallic target approaches the probe, eddy currents are induced on the target's surface; the resulting counter-magnetic field alters the impedance of the probe coil, allowing the distance between the probe and the target to be precisely calculated by measuring this impedance change.
