Product Description
The UPC090AE01 HIEE300661R0001 is a multi-channel input/output module. This module is part of ABB's classic Freelance AC 700F controller series and is designed for industrial control systems, particularly distributed control systems (DCS) and programmable logic controllers (PLC).
This module can function as a fieldbus coupler (Profibus-DP coupler). One end is tightly connected to an AC 700F or compatible controller rack via a high-speed parallel bus, enabling direct communication with the CPU; the other end features a standard 9-pin D-SUB connector for connecting to a Profibus-DP fieldbus network.
It can also function as a process controller module or multifunction processor, handling core computational and control tasks; versions with AC/DC power supply modules are also available to provide a stable power supply for DCS systems. This multifunctional design makes it one of the core components in the ABB DCS/PLC system.
